Our Services
At Gwernllwyn Care Home, we understand that moving to a new home can be a major life-change, which is why we have created a 'home from home' where each individual is affirmed, feels valued and respected, and is given the support and encouragement to become all that they can be and to live their lives with meaning and purpose. We provide a range of services, including residential care and accommodation for a maximum of 68 individuals, with each room having en-suite facilities. Our services include a function room with a bar, a hairdressers, and a shop, ensuring that our residents have access to all the amenities they need.

Our History
Gwernllwyn has an interesting and diverse history. Originally, it was the residence of the Cross Hands' Colliery Manager, the grandeur of the Mansion, gardens, and extensive orchard in keeping with the status of its owner in the locality. Later, it was transformed into a Nightclub, and after closing its doors to the public in 2014, it was converted into a 'state of the art' Care Home, offering a place for friends of the past to reunite again.
