Business Details
Ramsey's Sash Restoration is a local, family-run business with over two decades of experience in the restoration, draught-proofing, and replacement of traditional sash windows. Based in Glasgow, Paisley, and Ayrshire, we are renowned for our quality craftsmanship, superior service, and competitive pricing. Our commitment to preserving the original character and charm of period sash windows sets us apart from our competitors, as we strive to restore these beautiful features rather than replace them with modern alternatives.
**Our Services**At Ramsey's Sash Restoration, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include:
* Sash window restoration: We specialise in restoring sash windows to their former glory, ensuring that they move smoothly, reduce exterior noise, and minimise draughts. Our meticulous restoration process involves careful attention to detail, using only the finest materials to maintain the original quality of the sash timber.
* Draught-proofing: Our draught-proofing service is designed to minimise heat loss and improve energy efficiency, while preserving the aesthetics of your traditional sash windows. We achieve this by fitting brush pile draught proofing systems into the meeting rails, parting beads, and staff beads of your windows, creating an impermeable barrier against cold air.
* Sash window replacement: In cases where repair is not possible or cost-effective, we offer a sash window replacement service. We supply new sash windows in Sapele Hardwood, fully glazed, primed, and painted, with various glazing options available. These include acoustic glass for noise reduction and opaque or frosted options for privacy. We can also provide and install double glazed wooden sash windows.
* Casement window restoration: In addition to our sash window services, we also specialise in restoring and renovating casement windows. Our refurbishment specification for casement windows involves removing existing staff beads, balancing the windows, re-cording them with nylon sash cords, and fitting new brush pile draught proofing systems.
**Our Commitment to Quality**
