Our Team

Our senior management team comprises experienced professionals from a multi-disciplined background within the construction industry. With over 15 years of experience at Doug Phillips, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our clients.

Mark Shorney, Contracts Director, is responsible for health and safety and has a strong background in specialist sub-contracting and quantity surveying. Mark is passionate about maintaining Doug Phillips' excellent health and safety records and is constantly challenging existing methods of working to achieve a safe workplace.

Dave Adams, Contracts Director, joined Doug Phillips as an apprentice in 1988 and quickly rose through the ranks to Project Manager. Dave was elected to the Board of Directors in 2005 and is responsible for contract management. Dave's ability to deliver challenging and unique projects on time and within budget while maintaining a healthy client relationship is a strong asset to the company.

Mike Ross, Commercial Director, has a varied range of experience in news teams in Australia and International banks in Singapore before joining a PQS company in London. Mike joined Doug Phillips in 1997 as a QS and now holds the position of Commercial Director. Mike's expertise in quantity surveying is a valuable asset to the company.
