Our History
Earthmover Tyres (Wakefield) Ltd was established in 2004 to acknowledge the need for specialist tyre requirements in larger/unusual sizes. Our team has extensive experience in the field, and we have supplied customers old and new with their tyre requirements while adhering to our mission statement. Being based in West Yorkshire, near the M1/M62 major intersections, we are able to offer a large coverage to sites within a 2-hour geographical window of being contacted. We can also offer a next-day service on nationwide work, including supply and loan tyres of major tyre sizes, thanks to our large central warehousing.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including fitting and loan services, vulcanised tyre repairs, tyre filling services, and tyre pressure monitoring systems. Our fitting and loan service enables us to repair your tyres and minimizes downtime to your fleet vehicle. We have dedicated and fully equipped vehicles to handle tyre sizes from 15.5/25 up to 2700/49. Our vulcanised tyre repair facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and our repair engineers are accredited by Michelin/Rema Tip Top. We also offer a tyre filling service, where we can fill tyres from the smallest to the largest earthmover tyres. Our tyre pressure monitoring system allows drivers and fleet managers to make sound operational judgements, enabling them to detect any issues with tyre pressure and temperature.
Our Commitment to Health and Safety
Health and safety is of utmost importance to us. We have achieved our AVETTA award in SSIP, and our PICs membership certificate number is 55390. We have listed companies such as Hanson UK, Tarmac, and Singleton Birch, whom we supply. Our fitters carry full Health and Safety packs, which contain all relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements for working, Health and Safety Policies, including Environmental Policy, Equipment Certificates, as well as insurance details to enable speedy site inductions.
