Our Story
The Burrell Theatre has a rich history, officially opened by Sir Tim Rice in 2002. We have since been awarded a special commendation by the Cornwall Buildings Group. Our mission is to bring a wide range of exciting and diverse performances to the people of Truro and beyond.

Food and Drink
Our newly refurbished bar, run in association with Truro School Cookery, offers a wide range of locally sourced confectionery, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. We're open 30 minutes before the start of the show and stay open until the end of the interval. You can even take your drinks and snacks into the auditorium for most performances.

We're committed to making your visit to the Burrell Theatre as easy as possible. Our venue is completely accessible for all users, with wheelchair access and adapted facilities.
