Disappointments
Several customers have expressed disappointment with their experiences at Cardamom Bay. Paul Brady gave the restaurant a one-star rating and stated that when he ordered, he was initially told they only served non-alcoholic drinks, which was not the case. Additionally, he was served the wrong food, even after asking for a specific dish. To make matters worse, the restaurant added a 10% service charge to his bill without his consent.
Word of Caution
It is also worth noting that the restaurant does not have a license to serve alcohol, as mentioned by Jennie Hill in her 5-star review. This suggests that customers should not expect to be able to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
Praiseworthy Service
However, Kayleigh M. had a highly positive experience at Cardamom Bay, awarding the restaurant a 5-star rating. She praised the friendly atmosphere, attentive yet unobtrusive staff, and delicious food. She also mentioned that her group has always received a complimentary starter and dessert, which was a pleasant surprise.
