About Us
Elder York Guest House is situated in the midst of Edinburgh's world-renowned New Town, in one of Edinburgh's Grade A listed buildings. As Edinburgh's most centrally located guest house, we offer a good standard of accommodation with the best of Scottish hospitality. Our guest house is conveniently located for shopping, theatres, and city breaks, with many of Edinburgh's famous shops, theatres, and attractions within walking distance.
Accommodation
Our guest house features 12 bedrooms, priced to meet all budgets. En suite facilities are available on request for most rooms. All rooms are tastefully decorated and feature TV, tea and coffee facilities, and ironing facilities. We also provide a laundry service and a range of toiletries and sundries in case you have forgotten something.
Golf Concierge Service
As Scotland is the home of golf, we understand the importance of catering to golf enthusiasts. Through our association with Ultimate Golf Service, we provide a golf concierge service, offering golf packages that include overnight accommodation, breakfast, transport to and from the golf course, and a warm welcome upon arrival by the club professional.

Our prices vary during the season, starting from 35 per person inclusive of VAT. Price includes our renowned full Scottish Breakfast or continental breakfast if preferred.
