Our Story
After taking over the business in 2014, Lisa Manley became the driving force behind Butts Green Garden Centre & Cafe, with a clear vision to bring our customers a first-class choice of plants, food, and gifts. Our cafe is one of the only establishments that make and bake everything on-site, thanks to the dedication of our talented chefs and front-of-house staff. Our Garden Centre is a treasure trove of perennials, shrubs, and bedding, carefully laid out to inspire our customers when creating their own outdoor spaces.
Services
At Butts Green Garden Centre & Cafe, we offer a wide range of services designed to cater to our customers' needs. Our Cafe serves homemade cakes, baked daily, using locally sourced ingredients, freshly made to order. We have an extensive specials menu that changes regularly, depending on the Great British weather and subsequently what vegetables and fruits are in season. We're proud to be vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free friendly, and we also provide outside catering, buffets, and takeaway services for whole cakes, picnic boxes, afternoon tea, and hot drinks.
In our Garden Centre, we stock a vast array of garden plants, including fragrant David Austin roses, evergreen shrubs, herbs, alpines, trees, seasonal bedding, and lots more. Perennials are our main speciality, and we stock everything from the common Lupins to the more unusual Digiplexis! If you're looking for a specific plant, please let us know, and we'll do our best to obtain it for you.
