Griffiths Security Ltd, incorporating John Woods Locksmiths, is a family-owned locksmith company with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. We are proud to be one of the oldest locksmith shops in Britain, with invoices for keys and locks for the castle dating back to the 16th century. Our company offers a full locksmith service with a retail shop providing a professional key cutting service, a full range of safes, locks, and security hardware, window grilles and shutters, as well as a comprehensive range of handles and door furniture.
We can supply and fit any of the products we sell, and all our on-site locksmiths are CRB checked and qualified to give you peace of mind. As a Trade Division Member of the Master Locksmiths' Association, we have been inspected and vetted to ensure the quality of work is what you would expect from a professional locksmith company. Our three directors have over 90 years' combined experience in the locksmiths' industry, and our shop manager, Janet, has worked in the same premises for over 30 years, so you can be sure we know what we're talking about!
