The Escape Allergy Alert Test (AAT) and Treatment Suitability Policy

At The Escape, the safety of our customers is our utmost priority. We take allergies and potential reactions to hair colours and beauty products extremely seriously. With this in mind, we have implemented a comprehensive Allergy Alert Test (AAT) Policy to ensure the highest level of safety for our clients. We adhere strictly to manufacturer and industry guidelines, and no service that requires testing will be performed without a correctly administered AAT and no reaction present.

We kindly request that customers inform us of any concerns or changes to their health status that may affect the safety of their treatments. Full details of our policy can be found here. Additionally, please note that certain situations may necessitate more frequent or additional testing.

In order to ensure that any necessary additional AATs are performed prior to your appointment, we have introduced screening calls and text messages, particularly if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or received a vaccine since your last visit. More information can be found here.
