Our History

The establishment of Hovingham Interiors can be traced back to its founding by Denis Johnson in an old estate workshop at Hovingham Hall, North Yorkshire. Over the years, the business has evolved and grown, moving its production to modern premises in Malton, North Yorkshire. While traditional manufacturing methods continue to play a significant role in our production process, we now also employ state-of-the-art CNC equipment to ensure the highest level of precision and quality.

Much of our success can be attributed to word-of-mouth recommendations and the return of satisfied customers. This testifies to the exceptional quality of our design, service, and handmade products, as well as our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. From the outset, our goal has been to provide clients with many years of enjoyment from a kitchen that is built to last, and we remain dedicated to this objective to this day.

At Hovingham Interiors, our extensive skills, ideas, and knowledge enable us to design kitchens tailored to each individual client's specific requirements. With a wide selection of beautiful natural woods, including oak, maple, walnut, cherry, ash, beech, and pine, and various kitchens for paint finish, our clients have a wealth of options to choose from. Top-quality appliances, ranging from built-in to free-standing, can also be supplied, along with a variety of worktops such as granite, Corian, or wood, to complement the chosen kitchen.

Bathrooms & Bedrooms

In addition to our bespoke kitchens, we also design, create and fit bathroom and bedroom interiors. Each furniture piece is tailor-made to fit your space and budget, ensuring that our clients receive a personalised product that meets their specific needs and preferences. Our bathroom and bedroom creations include fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, dressing tables, bathroom cabinets, and much more.

Showroom

Visitors are welcome to explore our showroom in Malton, North Yorkshire, where we display 18 different kitchens, as well as bedroom and bathroom interiors, to offer excellent inspiration for their own homes. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are onsite to offer design advice, provide information, and answer any questions. We take great care in ensuring that every creation embodies the highest level of craftsmanship, and we invite visitors to witness this quality firsthand.
