Established in April 2003, AJ Landscapes was founded by Andrew Jones with a vision to provide the highest quality work in landscaping and grounds maintenance at competitive prices. Andrew Jones, the founder and managing director, is a highly skilled and experienced professional who has been working in the landscaping industry since 1995. After completing his training at the Welsh College of Horticulture and gaining an NVQ level 3 in Landscaping, Andrew worked for several reputable landscaping and grounds maintenance companies, honing his skills and building a wealth of experience. His passion for delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service led him to establish AJ Landscapes, a company that strives to exceed customer expectations in every project.

At AJ Landscapes, we offer a wide variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance services, including but not limited to the following:

Landscaping Services

• Turfing / Seeding: This service is offered between March and September, depending on the weather conditions. We use premium quality ornamental or hard-wearing turf, tailored to our customers' needs.
• Fencing: We offer all varieties of panels, posts, and gravel boards for fencing, available all year round except during frosty or icy conditions.
• Patios: We can lay patios all year round, except during frosty, icy or extremely wet conditions. We offer various sizes and shapes, and a brochure can be requested during the site visit.
• Paths / Shed bases: This is an all-year-round service except during frosty, icy or extremely wet conditions. We offer various shapes, sizes, and styles of slabs for paths, and sturdy flagstone for shed bases.
• Gravelling: Gravelling is available all year round, and various colours, shapes, and sizes of gravel are available. Membrane sheeting is used under all gravel applications to minimise the likelihood of weeds growing through it.
• Tree / Shrub planting: Planting of shrubs and trees is available between March and October. We offer ground preparation, planting, and aftercare services, tailored to our customers' needs.

Grounds Maintenance Services

• Grass cutting: We offer grass cutting services between March and September, depending on the weather conditions. We recommend grass cutting every fortnight for a healthy-looking garden.
• Hedge cutting: Hedge cutting is available between March and November, with the last cut recommended between October and November for a clean cut hedge during the winter months.
• Weed control: This service is available between March and October, and we offer various weed control methods, tailored to our customers' needs.
• Pruning: The availability of this service varies depending on the species of plant. We offer pruning services for various plants, tailored to their specific pruning requirements.
