Frames Gallery is a distinguished family-run business that has been a mainstay in the Scottish art scene since 1979. Our gallery has earned a well-deserved reputation for showcasing some of the finest contemporary art and craft from Scotland, all the while maintaining an award-winning picture framing workshop.
Our story began as picture framers, and even as we have expanded to incorporate a spacious exhibition area, our framing expertise remains an integral part of our business. With over 42 years of experience under our belt and close collaborations with numerous contemporary artists, Frames Gallery offers clients an exceptional level of service: highly skilled, creative, artistic, and tailored to your needs.
In 1991, we moved to our current location in Perth, allowing us to host larger exhibitions and better showcase the incredible talents of contemporary Scottish artists. A purpose-built extension was added in 1997, further enhancing our capacity to mount diverse and impressive exhibitions. Throughout the year, you'll find a bustling schedule of group and solo exhibitions, featuring painting, printmaking, sculpture, and more. We are committed to bringing these remarkable Scottish artists to the widest possible audience, both locally and at national art fairs in London, Edinburgh, and Bristol.
