Settle Coal Company is a family-run business established in 1962, in the picturesque market town of Settle, in the Yorkshire Dales. The business started as a domestic coal supplier but over the years has expanded and diversified to meet the needs of a wide variety of customers both domestic and commercial.
Our Services
Our Building Supplies department can provide you with an extensive variety of products to fulfill your building and landscaping requirements. To assist you with your tasks, we also have Skips and HIABs for hire with qualified and experienced operators. We supply traditional house coal, premium house coal, smokeless coal, and formed coal to collect from our depot or for delivery across parts of North Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Cumbria.
Our Firewood Logs department supplies logs suitable for any fire, even if you live in a smokeless zone. We supply hardwood logs and kiln-dried logs along with netted bags of kindling and hot-burning Hotties. Our Builders Merchants department stocks a wide range of products ranging from quality building materials to power tools and hand tools and workwear from Makita, Dassy, and DeWalt.
Our Stoves and Accessories department can supply a range of log burners and multi-fuel Stoves, along with accessories such as log baskets and fire-side companion sets. We also provide a range of other services to the domestic DIY market and commercial building trade, including HIAB Hire and Skip hire to Calor Gases.

Our shop and builders merchant yard on Station Road in Settle is open to visitors, where you can view our full range of products and building supplies.
