Settle Coal

Settle Coal is a family-run business established in 1962, rooted in the picturesque market town of Settle within the Yorkshire Dales. Initially founded as a domestic coal supplier, the company has expanded its offerings to cater to a diverse clientele, including both domestic and commercial customers. Our core operations revolve around providing an extensive range of building supplies, power tools, workwear, and landscaping materials, alongside specialized services such as HIAB hire, skip hire, and hydraulic pipe repairs. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to evolving customer needs while maintaining the personal touch of a family-owned enterprise. Our team of qualified and experienced professionals ensures that every project, whether large or small, receives expert attention and tailored solutions. From supplying traditional house coal and smokeless fuels to offering Calor gases and BOC welding equipment, we deliver comprehensive resources for construction, heating, and industrial applications.

Our commitment to quality extends to our product selection, which includes trusted brands like Makita, DeWalt, and DASSY, alongside safety gear and hydraulic hoses made to individual specifications. Customers can visit our Station Road premises to explore our full inventory, benefit from expert advice, and access equipment rentals, including weigh bridge services and trailer spares.
