Realise the full potential of each and every child

At Giggle and Grow Day Nurseries, we are delighted to welcome you to our website and share with you the wonderful world of childcare that we have created. Our nurseries are situated in the heart of Oldham, providing a nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our dedicated team is committed to providing the highest quality childcare, guided by our core principles of relaxation, happiness, and fun.

Our Story

Giggle and Grow Day Nurseries is owned and managed by Janine Holden and Joanne Cooke, who have been in partnership for over 16 years. Both Janine and Joanne hold their BA Honours in Early Years leadership and have a passion for delivering exceptional childcare. Our management team consists of Sarah Chadwick, manager based at the Oldham setting, who holds a BA honours in Early Years leadership and her Early Years professional status. Hayley Cooke, manager based at the Glodwick setting, holds her level 3 in childcare. Our deputy managers, Kerry Farrow and Shamila Bashir, are highly experienced and dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of our nurseries. Our nursery staff are all highly trained to level 3 or above and are chosen for their passion and dedication to delivering exceptional childcare.

Our Philosophy

At Giggle and Grow, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which sets the standards for learning, development, and care. Our EYFS-trained practitioners focus on each child as an individual, realising their full potential through play-based learning. Our childcare approach is designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in a fun and loving environment. We believe that childhood is a time of wonder and discovery, and our nurseries are designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

Our Services

Our nurseries are designed to provide a range of activities and opportunities for children to learn, play, and explore. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are carefully planned to promote active learning, creativity, and socialisation. Our children enjoy a fun-packed day, covering a wide range of activities, including music, art, and sensory play. We also provide a nutritious meal service, with meals prepared in-house by our experienced cooks.

Learning and Development

At Giggle and Grow, we understand the importance of early childhood education and care. Our teachers and caregivers work together to plan and deliver a curriculum that is tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities. Our EYFS-trained practitioners focus on seven areas of learning and development, including communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development. Our nurseries are designed to promote a love of learning, encouraging children to ask questions, make connections, and think critically.

Our Goals

Our goal at Giggle and Grow is to realise the full potential of each and every child. We strive to create a nurturing environment that is relaxed, happy, and fun, where children can grow and develop at their own pace. We believe that effective communication is key to our success, and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure that we are providing the best possible care for their children.
