Our dedicated and experienced staff strive to ensure that every child reaches their full potential through high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
We are an inclusive school, where every child is welcomed and their needs and aspirations are supported. We believe that each child has unique talents and strengths, and we work hard to develop these in every way possible. We provide a wide range of opportunities both within and outside of the classroom, and we are proud of the well-rounded and confident young people who leave us to move on to the next stage of their education.

Our School Facilities

Our school is set in beautiful surroundings, with spacious grounds and a range of facilities to support teaching and learning. We have a well-stocked library, a music room, and a newly refurbished ICT suite, as well as a large sports hall and outdoor play areas. We are also fortunate to have a dedicated team of teachers and support staff who work hard to ensure that every child has the best possible learning experience.
Our Curriculum

At Duneane Primary School, we follow the Northern Ireland curriculum, which covers a broad range of subjects from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. We believe that learning should be fun and engaging, and we use a variety of teaching methods to suit the needs of all our pupils. We have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, and we also place great importance on the creative arts, science, and technology.
We encourage our pupils to take an active role in their learning, and we offer a range of extra-curricular activities, including sports clubs, music groups, and drama. We also have strong links with the local community, and we take part in a range of events and projects throughout the year.
Our Achievements

We are proud of the achievements of all our pupils, and we celebrate their successes in many different ways. We are particularly pleased with our recent inspection report, which recognised the hard work and dedication of our staff and pupils. We were also delighted to receive the Artsmark Gold Award in recognition of our commitment to the arts.
We are committed to ongoing improvement and are always looking for ways to develop and enhance the learning experience for all our pupils.
