Caldecote Day Nursery was established in 1995 by proprietor Mariana Dixon, a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 30 years of experience in childcare and early education. Starting as an 18-place setting for children aged 2 - 5, the nursery expanded in 2003 to accommodate 49 children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Our philosophy centres on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children learn through curiosity, play, and exploration, aligned with The Curiosity Approach. We utilise natural resources and real-life experiences to foster academic, social, and emotional development.Situated near Rugby town centre, we integrate local amenities into our curriculum, offering diverse activities such as drama sessions, French lessons, and mindfulness practices. Accredited by The Curiosity Approach in 2023, we prioritise innovative, child-led learning while maintaining high standards in nutrition, safety, and inclusivity.
