Our History
The idea of ESL was conceived in 1988 by two partners who recognised a void in the provision of legal services in the South West, particularly the lack of fully qualified ethnic lawyers. This void still remained 11 years later, despite the growth of the ethnic community. Elite Solicitors Ltd opened on 1st September 1999, specialising in the provision of excellent criminal defence and immigration advice and representation.
Our Ethos
Our ethos is to provide a high-quality, efficient service to everyone, particularly to the ethnic community in which our office is based. We view ourselves as an important link between the community and the Judicial/Legal System, seeking to provide a positive visual role model for the community and, where possible, provide employment, training, and work experience opportunities.

- Immigration: Our specialist immigration advisory team has in-depth knowledge of UK immigration law, providing expert legal advice and representation for immigration cases.
Our Team
Our team is led by Rodney W. Wilson, the Director of ESL, who has been in the legal profession for over 30 years. Rodney is a highly experienced and able Higher Court Advocate and Duty Solicitor, specialising in criminal defence and immigration law.
