At Abbs Cross & Chadwell St Mary Day Nurseries, we are a privately owned, family company established in 1996, operating four nurseries that provide outstanding care and education for children from birth to 5 years. We are committed to providing a nurturing and educationally stimulating environment that supports each child's individual needs and interests. Our highly qualified practitioners and early years teachers offer a child-centred play-based approach that enables children to develop their confidence and independence, supported by a structured routine.
Our friendly nurseries are equipped with excellent resources that are always displayed to encourage children's choice. We have robust policies and procedures in place that contribute to the effective daily running of each setting and create a welcoming atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes inclusion. We offer an open door policy that enables parents/carers to visit at any time to view the nursery, guaranteeing a true insight into nursery life.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support your child's development, including funded places for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds. Our nurseries are open from 7:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year. We provide a safe and secure environment, with a focus on food and nutrition, safety and security, and parent portal and payment systems.
Our nurseries are designed to provide a haven for children to develop, with clean and brightly coloured rooms that promote a child's sense of achievement and belonging. We display children's work to promote their sense of pride and ownership. Our motivated teams plan effective activities and learning opportunities that support children's interests and individual needs.
