Murray Hogg

Murray Hogg is one of the oldest and most experienced haulage companies in the North East and throughout the UK. Established in 1928 as a general haulage company, we have grown from strength to strength and are currently managed by the third generation of the Hogg family. Our team of over 120 employees includes drivers, warehouse, office, and support staff who ensure smooth operations. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including general haulage, car transportation, warehousing, container loading/unloading, and overnight pallet deliveries. Our modern fleet comprises Artics, Rigids, Express Vans, Double Deck Curtainsiders, Tail Lifts, Crane Mounted Trucks, Car Transporters, and Fork Lift Trucks. Our warehouses and back office utilise the latest technologies to track vehicles, loads, and consignments 24 hours a day.

We prioritise security with 24/7 CCTV coverage and manned guarding at our facilities. Our commitment to innovation is demonstrated through computerised stock control systems and barcode facilities for efficient logistics management. We serve the entire UK mainland and specialise in distribution to the North East and Scotland. Our drivers are experienced, professional, and trained to carry dangerous goods and air freight. We maintain the highest standards of vehicle maintenance through our own workshops and offer vehicles/trailers in customer-specific liveries. Our long-standing reputation is built on reliability, technological advancement, and family-led management.
