Ambiance and Atmosphere
The Scafell Hotel is a lovely place to visit, with a great view, quiet surroundings, and a lovely atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to ensure guests have a great time.
Food and Beverage
The food at the hotel is incredible, with a wide range of options to suit different tastes and dietary requirements. The chef is talented and uses brilliant ingredients to create a taste sensation. The pub serves a good selection of beers and wine, and the breakfast is excellent.
Service
The staff is outstanding, providing excellent service and being accommodating to guests' needs. They are happy to help with hiking plans, provide drying rooms for wet clothing, and make flash tea for hikers.
Accommodation
The rooms are very nice, with a heated towel rail and convection heater for warmth and drying. The TV has lots of channels, and the beds are comfortable.
Lack of
While the hotel is great, some guests mention that the decor is a little dated in the main part of the hotel. However, this is not a major issue and does not detract from the overall experience.
