Empowering Children to Achieve Greatness
At Engayne Primary School, we are a local authority maintained school, catering for boys and girls aged from 4+ to 11+ years. We are a community school, and as such, we follow the local education authority's criteria for admissions to schools. Havering Council is the admission authority for all community schools in the London Borough of Havering, and it is their responsibility to set the admissions criteria and make decisions as to which pupils are admitted to our school.

Overall Quality of the School
The reviews suggest that the school's quality varied greatly depending on the year and the child's experience. The first reviewer, Michael Woodford M. Dov, claimed that his experience at the school was predominantly negative, stating that things "went down hill very badly" when he reached Junior years. He ultimately left the school in year 5 to attend another institution.
In contrast, the second reviewer, Marie Rumsey, had a very positive experience at the school. She praised the reception staff, stating that they were "willing to help", and mentioned that both of her children had attended the school without any issues.
Inconsistent Experience
It seems that the school's quality was inconsistent, with some children having a poor experience, while others had a positive one. The first reviewer's experience being a stark contrast to the second reviewer's experience.
Staff Support
The second reviewer highlighted the supportive nature of the reception staff, stating that they were "willing to help". This suggests that the school has a strong focus on supporting its students and their parents.
