Our History

The Mercer Collection was founded with the vision of creating a group of boutique hotels that would provide a unique and luxurious experience for our guests. Our first hotel, Florence House, was lovingly restored to its former glory, and since then, we have expanded to include four more hotels, each with its own unique character and charm. Throughout our journey, we have remained committed to providing exceptional service and comfort to our guests.

Our Services

At The Mercer Collection, we offer a range of services to make our guests' stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We also offer a range of dining options, including our restaurant, The Garden Southsea, which serves delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our Hotels

Florence House is our flagship hotel, lovingly restored to its former glory, while Somerset House offers a quiet retreat from the main hotel. Florence Suite is a quiet retreat from the main hotel, while Florence Gardens offers a quirky set-up with a beautiful courtyard garden. Stattons is our annex property, offering a boutique experience just a short stroll from our restaurant and garden area.

Our Restaurant

The Garden Southsea is our restaurant, nestled amongst the trees, offering a range of delicious dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. We also have a bar and separate restaurant space, perfect for a relaxing drink or meal. Our restaurant is dog-friendly, and we welcome families and children.
