Aldersbrook Bowling Club is a friendly and welcoming club based in Wanstead Park, established since 1919. We offer a range of services and facilities to our members, including six high-quality rinks, a clubhouse with a bar and kitchen, and a function room available for hire. Our club is affiliated with Bowls England, The Essex County Bowling Association, and is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club.
Our History
Our club has a rich history, dating back to 1919 when a piece of land was leased in Park Road and the club was born. Over the years, we have expanded and developed our facilities, including the construction of our pavilion, which was opened in 1922. We have also undergone several renovations and extensions, including the addition of a new lounge in 1973 and a new pavilion extension in 2005.
