At Holy Child Primary School, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and stimulating place to learn. Our aim is to provide our children with a variety of experiences, encouraging them to be willing to try new things without fear of failure, and to become independent and confident young people.
Our Services
- Nursery Unit: Our Nursery Unit is an integral part of school life at Holy Child Primary. We share our core values and Catholic ethos with the main school, and celebrate the school motto, "Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day". Our Nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and motivating learning environment for 52 children, with two separate classrooms and a child-friendly facility. We cater for shared learning experiences, including our outdoor classroom, which allows our children to develop their learning together.
- Education: We offer a holistic curriculum that affords our children every chance to develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Our dedicated teachers and staff strive to deliver a high-quality education that prepares our students for a successful future.
- Child Protection: The safety and well-being of our students are paramount. We have robust child protection policies and procedures in place to ensure our children are protected and supported at all times.
- Parental Engagement: We believe that home, school, church, and community should work together to support our children. We encourage parental engagement through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and various events and activities.
- Extended Day: We offer an extended day service, providing after-school care and activities, such as homework clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.
- ICT and Numeracy: We believe in the importance of IT and numeracy in today's world. We provide a range of ICT facilities and numeracy resources to support our students' learning and development.
