Inspiring lifelong learning through joy and creativity
At Greenfield Primary School, we are committed to providing a happy and vibrant education that is caring and supportive, working in a stimulating and structured environment, where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. As a head teacher, I have always been principled about learning. I am a learner, and I love to learn. I am delighted to lead a school and staff team which is happy to explore new ideas and to continually develop our practice.

Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the educational and personal development of our pupils. These include:
- School Times and Term Dates: Our school day runs from 8:50 am to 3:20 pm for key stage 1 (years 1 and 2) and 3:30 pm for key stage 2 (years 3, 4, 5, and 6). We have five teacher training days each academic year, and our term dates may differ from those of other local schools.
- Attendance: We work hard to minimise our rates of authorised and unauthorised absences. If your child is absent from school, please contact the school by 9:30 am to inform us. We use our best efforts to contact parents and carers if we have not received a call by 9:30 am.
- Breakfast and After School Clubs: We offer breakfast and after-school clubs for our pupils, providing a safe and stimulating environment for them to play, learn, and socialise with their peers.
- Parentmail: We communicate effectively with our parents and carers through our Parentmail system, keeping you informed about your child's progress, school events, and important updates.
- School Uniform: We have a specific uniform policy to ensure that all pupils dress in a way that is respectful, comfortable, and represents the values of our school.
- School Dinners: We offer a nutritious and delicious meal service to our pupils, catering to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.
- Reading and Phonics: We place great emphasis on developing the reading and phonics skills of our pupils, providing a comprehensive programme of instruction and support.
- Music: We believe that music is an essential part of a well-rounded education. We offer a range of musical activities and performances for our pupils, from singing and playing instruments to composing and conducting.
- Antibullying: We take the issue of bullying very seriously and have a comprehensive anti-bullying policy in place to ensure that our pupils feel safe and supported.
