The hotel's on-site restaurant, Fourty5 the Square, is a hidden gem, producing amazing food. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide range of options, and the fresh produce used is of high quality. The dinner service is also superb, with dishes like fish and chips and battered fish receiving high praise.

The rooms are a good size, with high ceilings, sash windows, and classic decor. The bathrooms are well-equipped, with some featuring baths. The hotel is dog-friendly, with a small park directly opposite for dog-walking.

Negatives
