Early Years
Many reviewers shared fond memories of attending Lancasterian School in the 1950s, 1970s, and 2010. Carol Jackson, who attended in the early 1970s, praised her teachers, particularly Mr. Gordon, and remembered the school fondly. Fiona Dobrzanski, who also attended in the early 1970s, recalled having a great experience and shared many nostalgic details, including the separate playgrounds and the sweet shop across the road.
Recent Experience
Savana, a current student, rated the school 5 stars, despite citing the school dinners as being "awful". Anna praised the school's management, pupils' behavior, and helpful staff. A. O. B. also praised the school's friendly and diligent staff and pupils, stating that it provides many opportunities for early success.
Teachers and Staff
Several reviewers highlighted the positive impact of their teachers, including Mr. Gordon, Mr. Collpan, Mr. Hewitt, and other unnamed staff members. G. Marley, a former student from the 1950s, remembered Mr. Hewitt's emphasis on learning times tables and his unique teaching methods.
