Big Bite Catering is a multi-award winning catering and patisserie company based in central Scotland, providing bespoke, hand-crafted dishes for weddings, private dining and corporate events. Established in 2001, we have over two decades of experience in event catering, and our team of experienced staff have perfected their craft at some of the most desirable establishments across the world. Our founder and executive chef, Alan Boslem, former Sous Chef of the world-renowned Gleneagles Hotel, takes pride in his ability to create unique dining experiences for every individual and event.

Our Menus

At Big Bite Catering, we offer a range of menus to suit every occasion, from intimate events to grand weddings. Our menus are designed to showcase seasonal, sustainable and local produce, and we are committed to creating quality dishes that will delight your taste buds. We work closely with our clients to customise and curate a bespoke menu for their event, ensuring that every detail is tailored to their specific needs and preferences.

Weddings

Wedding catering is at the heart of what we do. We understand that every detail of your special day is so important, and we pride ourselves on creating a meal that your guests will remember for years to come. Our team of experienced chefs will work with you to create a menu that reflects your personal style and tastes, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

Corporate Events

We work with a vast range of corporate clients from football clubs and educational institutions to blue chip companies throughout central Scotland, providing high quality catering for all event sizes. We are proud to say that we have fostered long term relationships with our corporate clients, most of which have come to us through personal recommendation. Our team of experienced chefs can cater for any type of corporate event, from board meetings and product launches to conferences and gala dinners.

Private Dining

We also offer private dining catering for more exclusive or intimate events. Within our private dining packages, we will create a range of hand-crafted dishes to suit the occasion, from BBQ and buffet style banquets to canapes and 6 course meals. Our private dining menus are designed to be flexible, allowing you to choose the dishes that best suit your event and your guests.

Meet the Big Bite Catering Family

Our team is made up of experienced chefs who have worked at some of the most respected restaurants and hotels across the world, as well as raw talented youth who train with us through a three-year apprenticeship programme. Our Director and Executive Chef, Alan Boslem, heads the team, bringing his expertise as former sous-chef of Gleneagles Hotel and winner of the Banqueting & Events Chef of the Year award at the 2019 CIS Excellence Awards.
