The Godwins Hotel has a rich history dating back to the 19th century, when it was originally called The Ferns. The hotel was built for William H. Godwin, the owner of Godwin's Tiles, a renowned tile manufacturer of the time. The hotel's striking red brick Gothic architecture and stunning multicolored tiles are a testament to its fascinating past.
