Our History

The Lace Market Hotel is proud to be located in one of the oldest areas of Nottingham, with a rich history dating back to the troglodyte settlers. The area has undergone significant development over the centuries, with the street patterns remaining similar to those of the Middle Ages. Our hotel is made up of four original buildings, including Bugge Hall, which was originally the home of the prominent Nottingham lace merchant family, the Bugge family. The building has undergone numerous transformations over the years, serving as a lace mill, a pub, and eventually, the Lace Market Hotel.

Environmental Responsibility

At the Lace Market Hotel, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We have implemented various sustainable practices, including the use of energy-efficient lighting and equipment, reducing waste, and promoting recycling. We believe that every small step counts, and we are dedicated to doing our part in protecting the environment for future generations.
