Nestled in the heart of Catford, South East London, Bellingham Bowling Club is a friendly and welcoming club for bowlers of all ages and abilities. Founded in 1912, we pride ourselves on providing a warm and inviting atmosphere to all our members. Our comfortable clubhouse is surrounded by two beautiful greens and a large car park, set amidst a peaceful garden setting with stunning views of London's famous landmarks.
Our Services
We offer a range of services and facilities to cater to our members' needs. Our outdoor greens are open from April to October, with informal, organised bowls sessions taking place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2:30 pm. Additionally, the club is open throughout the week for members to practice their skills on their own or with others. From October to April, we offer indoor short mat bowling sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 1:30 pm and Mondays at 7:00 pm.
Function Bookings
Our function room with fully fitted kitchen facilities is available for hire, making it the perfect venue for your special occasion. Whether it's a birthday party, wedding, or corporate event, we can accommodate parties of up to 100 people.
Ladies and Men's Sections
We have two separate sections, each with its own committee and coaches. The Ladies' Section is led by Anne White (Secretary) and Joyce Church (Captain/Treasurer), while the Men's Section is led by Harvey Kairon (Secretary) and Paul Buck (Captain). Our coaches are committed to helping our members improve their skills, and we offer free coaching and instruction to all new members.
Competitions
We hold various competitions throughout the year, including club, county, and national events. Our finals weekend is a highlight of the year, with many prestigious competitions taking place. We also have a comprehensive coaching program, with coaches available to offer guidance and tips to improve our members' skills.
Social Events
In addition to our competitive events, we also host many social events throughout the year. Our social calendar includes regular gatherings, parties, and tournaments, providing plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make friends.

Our club is easily accessible by public transport, with the nearest train station being Bellingham. We also have a car park for members' convenience.
