Our History and Team
Our chef and owner, Craig Wilkinson, has been part of the Bay Horse Inn for over 24 years. During this time, he has built a reputation for consistently high-quality food, using only the freshest local ingredients. Craig is dedicated to his craft, leading the team through every shift to ensure that every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard.
Nicola Wilkinson, Craig's wife, joined the team in 2015 and has played a significant role in the development of the business. She oversees staff recruitment and management, as well as taking an active part in marketing and events.
Food and Drink
We offer a range of menus, featuring classic dishes as well as seasonal additions inspired by the local produce of Lancashire. Our a la carte menu is supplemented by weekly specials, available on our blackboards. We welcome pre-orders from parties of 8 or more, and offer a set menu option for groups.
In addition to our excellent food, we also offer a range of drinks, including a selection of real ales and a comfortable bar area. Our gardens are also open to guests, providing a picturesque setting for a drink or a meal.

We are excited to introduce our brand new Hayloft dining space, available for private hire for parties of 8-14. Whether it's a Sunday lunch, birthday celebration, or business gathering, the Hayloft is the perfect setting for any occasion.

Opening Hours
We are open Monday and Tuesday, closed Wednesday to Sunday, open 12-2pm, 6-9pm. On Sundays, we open at 12-3pm and 5:30-7:30pm.
