At GC Motors, we are proud to be one of the UK's largest independent sports, prestige, and 4x4 dealers, with over 10 million vehicles in stock. Our story began over three generations ago, with the Castleton family's involvement in the motor trade. Our founder, Giles Castleton, had a successful career running eleven garages for a PLC before deciding to venture out on his own and establish GC Motors in 2004.

Initially, we operated from a cow shed at the Yorkshire Show Ground, but our rapid growth necessitated the move to larger premises in Mornington Crescent, Harrogate. Later, we relocated again to Thorp Arch in Wetherby, and finally, we settled into our current site on Ripon Road in Harrogate, where we now have over 70 staff and an annual turnover exceeding 80 million.

Our state-of-the-art 20,000sq ft onsite Bodyshop allows us to prepare our cars to a standard far beyond that of a main dealer. We guarantee that our vehicles will have no dents, scratches through the paint, or scuffs to alloy wheels. Our team of manufacturer-trained technicians is committed to servicing and maintaining your vehicle to the highest possible standard, equipped with the latest diagnosis equipment.
