Our History
Bertram Thomas Smith started growing at Smith's in the 1930s, with two small greenhouses, an old coal boiler to keep the plants warm at night, and ten acres of land laid out to wallflowers and roses. Today, owned and run by Norman Smith, we've come a long way, becoming a family-run garden centre that really does have it all.
