Established in 2013 following its transformation from Taylor Johns, The Tin Music and Arts operates as a charitable organisation dedicated to fostering artistic excellence in Coventry. Our venues at the historic Coal Vaults and adjacent premises provide flexible spaces for live music, rehearsals, community activities, and creative development. With a focus on supporting local talent and international artists, we curate diverse events that enrich the cultural landscape of Coventry. Our two main spaces - a characterful music venue with stage and bar area, and a versatile community room overlooking the canal - host weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and youth programmes.Backed by strong community partnerships, we deliver innovative arts initiatives that reflect Coventry's vibrant creative spirit while maintaining the heritage of our 18th-century canal basin location. The organisation's commitment to accessibility and artistic innovation has made it a cornerstone of the city's cultural infrastructure.
