Our journey began at college, where our founders, Ida and Jude, met while studying furniture design. They shared a passion for design and quickly became collaborators on various projects. Their contrasting visions and design styles have been the driving force behind our success.

Our Team
Our founders, Ida and Jude, are passionate about design and have a background in furniture and textiles design. They met while studying and began collaborating on projects, eventually forming Amba Design. Ten years, two children, and one sabbatical later, they formed Couch Design, a fusion of their diverse tastes and styles.
