La Pergola is a beloved Italian restaurant located in the charming village of Harlton, just a short jaunt from Cambridge. Our culinary journey began in 2007, fulfilling the dream of our father, Giulio, who arrived in Cambridge as a young aspiring chef in 1962. Over the years, he honed his craft at various esteemed venues, ultimately setting his sights on creating an authentic Italian eatery with a wood-burning pizza oven.
At La Pergola, we hold dear the culinary traditions of our parents, Giulio and Maria, by using authentic ingredients sourced from Italy and creating many items in-house, such as bread, pork and fennel sausages, antipasti pickles, and pasta sauces. But our commitment to authenticity doesn't stop at the kitchen. We have cultivated an allotment adjoining the restaurant, growing vegetables, herbs, and salad produce that find their way onto your plate.

Our commitment to authenticity extends beyond the kitchen. We have transformed the land adjoining the restaurant into a well-stocked allotment, complete with two polytunnels and rows of vegetables, herbs, and salad produce. Our customers take pleasure in knowing that some of the vegetables and salad they enjoy while dining here are not just locally grown but homegrown too. Seasonal dishes, such as rigatoni con salsiccia, wild mushroom risotto, and Quattro Formaggi pizza, showcase the freshness and flavour of our homegrown produce.
