At The Anchorage Guest House, we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests. Our family-run guesthouse is situated in the heart of Weymouth, just a stone's throw from the golden sands of Weymouth beach and the picturesque 17th-century harbour. Our ideal location allows our guests to easily access the town centre, with its many pubs, restaurants, major shopping outlets, and other attractions.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay with us. Our rooms are stylishly furnished and offer either harbour or beach views, depending on the room. We also provide a delicious full English breakfast, served between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, with a selection of cereals, toast, and preserves. Vegetarian breakfast options are available on request.
In addition to our comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast, we also offer a range of amenities, including free parking permits, concessionary parking tickets, and access to a local photographer who can take family portraits during your stay.
Our Facilities
Our guesthouse has a total of four floors, with rooms located on the first, second, and third floors. Our dining room and lounge are located on the ground floor. Please note that some of our rooms may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, so please contact us before booking if you have any concerns.
Our Photography Services
We are proud to display photographs by local photographer William Hollyoak on our walls. His framed works are available for purchase, and many of our guests have been delighted to return home with one of his delightful framed memories. William is also available for photographic assignments and can be contacted to make a booking.
