Our History
The Chantry Hotel is a Grade 2 Listed Georgian Town house dating from 1780, with an adjoining Tudor annexe dating from the 16th Century. Our hotel has been carefully restored to maintain its original features, while also providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our guests.
Our Services
Our hotel offers 14 beautifully appointed bedrooms, each individually styled to blend with the historic origins of the property. Our rooms feature flat screen Freeview televisions, en-suite bathrooms, and tea and coffee making facilities. We also offer a lounge bar where guests can relax with books and magazines, as well as a delicious breakfast served between 7.30am - 9.00am on weekdays and 8.00am - 9.30am on weekends and bank holidays.
Our Facilities
We take pride in offering a range of facilities to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our off-road car park provides a space for each bedroom, and free internet access is available throughout the hotel. We also have a lounge and bar area where guests can relax and enjoy a selection of drinks, as well as a workstation with a wifi-connected laptop computer and black & white laser printer for guests to use.
