The Story Behind Amore Italian Restaurant
Located in the heart of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Amore Italian Restaurant is a culinary journey served with a side of warmth and hospitality. Our story begins with our chef and owner, Francesco Alfano, who hails from Calabria, Italy. Growing up in a family that placed great importance on food and cooking, Francesco learned the art of traditional Italian cuisine from his mother and grandmother. He also studied under Michelin-starred masters in Rome, earning him the prestigious "Gambero Rosso" award.
As he traveled the world, Francesco gained invaluable life experience and met people from all walks of life. He chose England as his new home, where he met his future wife, Cassie, and started a family. With his passion for food, people, and his new home, Francesco decided to open his own restaurant, Amore Italian Restaurant.
