Our Philosophy

At l'escargot bleu, we believe that food should be sourced from the finest ingredients, cultivated and farmed with care and respect for the land and the animals. Our chefs work tirelessly to create dishes that showcase the best of Scotland's seasonal produce, as well as traditional French ingredients.

Our Menu

Our menu is carefully crafted to offer a range of options to suit every taste and dietary requirement. From classic French dishes like Coq au Vin and Bouillabaisse to innovative creations using the freshest Scottish produce, our menu is designed to transport you to the French countryside. Our blackboard 'bistro-style' menu evolves in response to feedback and demand, placing emphasis on quality and the seasons.

Our Wine Bar

Beneath the restaurant, you'll discover a warm and welcoming wine bar where you can enjoy an aperitif before dining, or visit after your meal. Serving cheese, charcuterie, olives, bread, and other carefully-sourced produce that are perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine or an aperitif, our wine bar is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Our Garden

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we've established a garden on our property, where we grow our own herbs and vegetables. This allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and support local, small-scale farming practices. We're proud to be the first restaurant in the UK to be certified by Pasture for Life, who support and promote producers of 100% pasture-fed beef, lamb, and dairy.
