Located in the picturesque town of Penparc, just a short drive away from the charming town of Cardigan, West Wales, Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages offer a unique and tranquil retreat for those seeking a relaxing getaway. Our cottages are situated on a 13-acre smallholding, surrounded by lush green fields, wooded valleys, and the sounds of nature. Each of our five carefully restored cottages, including The Coach House, Gorse Cottage, Oak Cottage, The Stables, and The Granary, is meticulously designed to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation for our guests.
The Cottages
Each of our cottages has been thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. From the one-bedroomed Coach House sleeping two to the four-bedroomed Granary sleeping eight, our cottages cater to a wide range of group sizes and preferences. Our cottages feature plush furnishings, wood-burning stoves, Freeview TVs, and beautifully appointed bathrooms.
The Granary
Our four-bedroomed Granary Cottage sleeps eight and is a perfect retreat for families or large groups. The cottage boasts a comfortable sitting room, dining/kitchen with French doors to patio and lawns, and a double bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find three additional bedrooms, including a main double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a further bedroom with three single beds. The main bathroom features a bath with a rainwater shower over.
The Coach House
Our one-bedroomed Coach House Cottage sleeps two and is the perfect retreat for couples. The cottage features an open-plan sitting/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen area and a wood burner. Upstairs, there's a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The large deck area offers seating to the rear of the cottage, overlooking the fields, stream, and woods.
Oak Cottage
Our two-bedroomed Oak Cottage sleeps four and is an ideal retreat for families or friends. The cottage features a comfortable sitting room, spacious dining kitchen, and bathroom with a shower over the bath. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.
The Stables
Our three-bedroomed Stables Cottage sleeps six and is perfect for larger families or groups. The cottage features a large sitting room, separate kitchen-dining room, and three bedrooms, including two with double beds and one with pine bunk beds. The cottage also has a bathroom with a bath and shower over and a large area of decking to the rear, overlooking the fields, stream, and woods.
Gorse Cottage
Our two-bedroomed Gorse Cottage sleeps three and is an intimate retreat for couples or small families. The cottage features a sitting/dining room with a fully equipped galley-type kitchen off, two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with a single bed - and a bathroom with a bath and shower over.
Bed and Breakfast
For those seeking a more traditional B&B experience, we offer two large double bedrooms with en-suite or private bathroom in a traditional farmhouse. Our B&B is the perfect retreat for those looking for a more personalized and intimate stay.
