Dupont Dance Stage School has been providing top-notch dance education to students of all ages and skill levels for over 70 years. Founded by Janette Dupont in the late 1950s, our school has established itself as one of the leading stage schools in the country. Our Services
We offer a wide range of dance classes for students from the age of 3 to adults, including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial, Contemporary, Classical Greek, and Acrobatic, as well as Musical Theatre, Singing, and Drama. Our classes are designed to cater to students of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer exam sessions throughout the year, where students can participate in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examinations. We also organize annual school shows, where students can showcase their skills and talents to a capacity audience at the De Montfort Hall theatre.
Our Facilities
Our school is housed in a beautifully converted grade II listed church building in the centre of Leicester, providing a unique and inspiring learning environment. Our facilities include five fully equipped studios, boys and girls changing rooms, and a dancewear shop.
