At The Little Cake Parlour, we are a passionate team of cake enthusiasts who take pride in our exceptional handcrafted cakes. Our story began in 2006 as a small business from home, where we would bake a variety of sweet treats for local cafes and delicatessens. As our business grew, we needed a more substantial kitchen, and in 2010, we opened a shop with an on-site bakery in Shawlands. Our cakes quickly gained popularity, attracting celebrity customers such as My Chemical Romance, Chvrches, Giovanna Fletcher, and Ed Sheeran.
We take great pride in our bespoke approach to cake design. Every cake we make is crafted with care and love, using only the finest ingredients. We understand the importance of accommodating dietary needs and offer a variety of options, including vegan, gluten-free, and eggless cakes. Our expert team is dedicated to creating the perfect cake for your special occasion.

Wedding Cake Journey
Our Wedding Cake Journey is designed to guide you through the process of creating your perfect wedding cake.
Step 1: Check Availability
Once you have booked your venue, please contact us to check our availability. Our diary is currently open for 2023, but not yet for 2024. You can secure your date at this point with a booking fee of 50.
Step 2: Consultation
You will be invited to our studio for a consultation, where we will discuss your ideas and vision for your wedding cake. You can bring stationery, fabric swatches, flower styles, and other relevant items to help us better understand your design preferences.
Step 3: Final Details
Around a month before your wedding, we will be in touch to finalize the details of your cake. This is the time to confirm any changes to colors, flavors, and add any special extras for guests with dietary requirements.
Step 4: Cake Delivery
We will personally deliver and set up your cake on the day of your wedding. We liaise with your venue to plan a convenient delivery time and can chat to your florist about incorporating fresh flowers onto your cake.
Step 5: Enjoy Your Special Day
The final stage is all about enjoying your special day with family and friends. We hope you have a wonderful time and treasure every moment.
