At Swan Lake Fishing and Caravan Park, we pride ourselves on being a family-run business that has been established for over 100 years. Our park is situated in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, close to the historic town of Skegness.
Our History
Swan Lake has been attracting fishermen for generations, offering a peaceful and serene environment for you to enjoy your fishing holiday. Our park is situated on 13 acres of beautiful parkland, with two fishing lakes stocked with a variety of fish. Our main lake, Swan Lake, is over two acres in size and boasts a diverse range of fish species, including Carp, Tench, Barbel, Crucians, Roach, Rudd, and Perch.
Our Services
At Swan Lake, we offer a range of services to ensure you have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us. Our 4-berth caravans are fully equipped with modern amenities, including gas cookers, colour televisions, microwaves, and refrigerators. Each caravan also comes with its own lock-up tackle shed, ensuring your gear is safe and secure.
Our park is designed to provide a relaxing and peaceful environment, with a small launderette on site to make your stay more convenient. We offer self-catering holidays to couples and fishing families only, and we do not accommodate all-male parties or pets.
Our Fishing Lakes
We have two fishing lakes at Swan Lake, each offering a unique and challenging fishing experience. Our main lake, Swan Lake, is over two acres in size and boasts a diverse range of fish species. The lake's depths range from four to eight feet, with sizes of Carp and Crucian in double-figures, while Tench are up to 5lbs. We also have a generous supply of silver fish.
Our second lake, Leaver Lake, is a relatively new addition to our park and has started to mature very quickly. The lake is one acre in size and has two islands, offering a peaceful and serene environment for you to enjoy your fishing experience. Leaver Lake is stocked with Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, and Perch, and it is not uncommon to catch weights of up to 50lbs.
Tips and Tactics
At Swan Lake, we provide expert tips and tactics to help you make the most of your fishing experience. For our main lake, Swan Lake, we recommend using pole, waggler, method feeder, pellets, meat, corn, and maggots. We also have a variety of baits available for purchase on site.
For Leaver Lake, we recommend using pole, waggler, pellets, corn, meat, and maggots, and fish close in margins for the best results. We also suggest fishing out to the islands for better-sized Carp and Tench.
