At Wrea Head Country Cottages, we offer a unique retreat for our guests, providing a range of self-catered holiday cottages situated on the edge of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Our cottages have been converted from old farm buildings, retaining many of their original features, including oak beamed ceilings and pantile roofs. We combine these traditional features with modern furnishings to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. With a range of cottages to choose from, we cater to different group sizes and requirements.
Our Cottages
We have nine self-catered holiday cottages, each one unique in its layout and design. Our cottages vary in size to accommodate parties of different sizes, from two to eight people. Each cottage is equipped with modern amenities and furnishings, ensuring your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Stable
Stable is one of our smallest cottages, sleeping two people and ideal for a romantic getaway. This single-storey cottage is located in the corner of the courtyard, offering stunning views of the Scarborough coastline. The cottage features a king-sized bed, a modern granite kitchen, a lounge/diner, and an en-suite bathroom. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets in this cottage. Please note that this cottage is only suitable for two people.
Castle View
Castle View is another popular single-storey cottage, sleeping four people and offering beautiful views of Scarborough Castle and the Scarborough coastline. This cottage provides a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area, and two bedrooms, including a spacious twin bedroom that can be made into a super-king-size bed if required. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath facilities. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets in this cottage.
Facilities
We offer a range of facilities to enhance your stay with us. These include an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, a play area for children, and ample parking. We also have a shared laundry room and Wi-Fi access throughout our properties.

The town is famous for its stunning beach, the Scarborough Spa Complex, and the picturesque fishing village of Stainforth. Visit the magnificent Scarborough Castle, or take a leisurely stroll along the cliff top walk, offering breathtaking views of the coastline.
