Located in the heart of Mid Wales, Severn Caravan Park is a family-run site that has been established over three generations. Nestled in the unspoiled countryside, adjacent to the River Severn, our park offers a tranquil and picturesque environment for a relaxing holiday. Our family-friendly campsite boasts a large playing field, a well-equipped play area, and ample space for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. With a disabled/family shower room and a laundry room, we strive to provide a comfortable and convenient stay for all our visitors.
The Campsite
Our campsite is situated in a beautiful location, with a large playing field and a well-equipped play area for children to enjoy. The pitches are well-spaced out, offering a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We welcome well-behaved dogs and have ample room for them to stretch their legs. The campsite is just a 5-minute drive from the bustling market town of Welshpool and has a local traditional public house nearby. The riverbank and surrounding countryside offer excellent opportunities for fishing, walking, and bird-watching.
Accommodation
We offer various accommodation options to suit your needs. Our campsites have electric and non-electric pitches, as well as self-catering accommodation in our two bunkhouses, Barn 1 and Barn 2. Barn 1 sleeps up to 12 people, with five rooms, three shower rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV lounge. Barn 2 sleeps up to six people, with three rooms, two shower rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV lounge. Both barns offer free Wi-Fi and have large parking areas.
Things to Do
Severn Caravan Park is an excellent base to explore the many wonders of north and Mid Wales. Nearby attractions include Powys Castle, the Llanfair Light Railway, Lake Vyrnwy, Snowdonia National Park, and Zip World. We are also close to the picturesque towns of Welshpool and Newtown.
