Our Nursery
Our nursery is designed to meet the unique needs of each child, and we operate two units on the same site. Our baby unit, which is dedicated to children from 3 months to 24 months, provides a homely environment with a homely layout and a daily routine tailored to each child's individual needs. Our top unit, which caters to children from 2 years old to pre-school age, offers a stimulating and exciting environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
Forest School Sessions
We recognize the importance of outdoor play and exploration, and that's why we offer weekly forest school sessions. Our experienced and trained staff lead sessions in our secure garden, providing opportunities for children to develop their physical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Music and Movement
We also offer weekly music sessions with Martin 'the music man', which provides an excellent opportunity for children to develop their auditory and motor skills. Our staff are trained to encourage and support children as they explore and express themselves through music and movement.
Healthy Living
We are committed to promoting healthy living and have recently become involved in the Startwell Healthy Living scheme. We believe that a healthy diet and regular physical activity are essential for children's overall well-being, and we strive to provide a balanced and nutritious diet for all children. Our daily meals are prepared fresh on-site to ensure that children receive the nutrients they need to thrive.
Staff Development
We are proud of our dedicated and experienced staff, who undergo regular training and professional development to ensure that they are equipped to provide the best possible care and education for our children.
