Our Story
We are a family-run nursery located in the heart of Peterborough, offering high-quality childcare since 2005. Our team of experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment that is tailored to the needs of each child. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to early childhood education, which is focused on encouraging children to explore, create, and learn through play.
Our Facilities
Our nursery is designed to provide a comfortable and stimulating environment for children of all ages. We have five individual rooms, each catering to children from 3 months to 5 years old. Our nursery is equipped with age-appropriate resources, a garden area, and a sensory room for all children to enjoy. We also offer a variety of activities and amenities to support the development of each child.
Additional Free Classes
As we believe that extra activities are essential for a child's development, we offer the following free classes to all of our parents:
- First Signs - Baby Sign Language: This class helps babies communicate their thoughts, wants, and needs while developing language skills needed for speaking.
- Dance Classes: We have a dance teacher who comes into the nursery every other week (during term time only) to do dance classes with the children in every room.
- Bilinguasing: This class offers children the opportunity to sing songs in French using a unique sensory movement and music programme developed for the children.
Governance and Accreditation
The Day Nursery is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children. We are proud to have achieved Millie's Mark, a national award that recognises our commitment to safeguarding and keeping children safe. We are also accredited by OFSTED, a national body that inspects and regulates childcare services in the United Kingdom.
Our Food
At The Day Nursery, we believe that food is an essential part of a child's development. Our menu is designed to provide a healthy and nutritious diet for children, and we have a food for life policy that ensures that all meals and snacks are prepared using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. We also offer a hot meals service, which is cooked on the premises.
Our Team

Opening Hours
We are open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We offer extended hours for early drop-off and late collection, and we also have a late pick-up policy for parents who may need to collect their children later than usual.
